Frost Wyrm, Lycan Counter?
Frost Wyrm
Do you see the skills of Frost Wyrm? I couldnt help but feel that frost worm is like a counter to lycanthrope. If you have read my blog about the possible changes in 6.75, you would notice a deliberate attempt by icefrog to try to nerf lycanthrope. We can clearly see this attempt in his changes such as removing the armor bonus lycan gets in his ulti. Also lycan's strength gain is being reduced. However the main reason that lycanthrope is such a powerful hero still remains. He is a non - purgable extra damage dealer (howl) wolf.
When u read Frost Wyrm's skills especially his ultimate, Winter's Curse, you tend to wonder if this hero is supposed to be a counter lycanthrope.
Also have a look at his Shield Ability. Lycanthrope depends so much on his ultimate and movement speed to gain kills or to move away.IF he is attacking a particular hero, Frost Wyrm can simply shield him which makes his invulerable to physical attacks and also regens his HP.
His first ability Mark is basically a stun for lycanthrope. So before lycanthrope gets his BKB frost wyrm can disable him. This can be done according to Frost Wyrms wishes, since he can voluntarily remove the marker and stun lycanthrope.
However the main reason i want you to believe that frost wyrmmight be a counter to lycan is cause of Winter's Curse. What is left to be seen is if this will affect the 522 movement speed bonus that lycan gains in his ulti. 70% slow is huge.

6.75 Leak
This is Patch 5. Frost Worm Details are in Patch 18 which we
couldn’t get our hands on.
Dota 6.75 Beta is leaked!!! Its been a while since we got a
DotA Beta map leaked, but here yougo, a DotA 6.75 Beta Map!! Its upto you to
judge whether this map is a genuine one or a fake one. But looking on how the
leaked changelogs and the map is supporting each other, I believe in the map.
That is the reason for me to paste it here. One thing to notice in this map is
that Roshan’s position is moved as in the picture below. This change is made
cause Scourge had a huge advantage due to Roshan;s positioning.
Posted Below are the changelogs. Rumors has it that the current Beta is around
Beta 39( can any1 confirm this please?) .
